He attended St. Peter Catholic Grade School and graduated from Vianney High School before earning a degree in electrical engineering from St. Louis Community College – Meramec. His professional journey included roles at IBM, UNISYS, Southwestern Bell, and as a government contractor at the National Personnel Records Center and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). It was at NGA where Bill met the love of his life, Rose Ann Cole. Their partnership spanned 40 beautiful years, filled with laughter, shared adventures, and unwavering support. Bill embraced Rose Ann’s daughter, Vicki, as his own, and through her, became a proud and devoted grandfather to Millie, Isaac, Audrey, and Owen—his greatest joy and brightest light.

Bill’s passions reflected his love for the outdoors and craftsmanship. He found peace in camping, fishing, and hunting, and delighted in hobbies like radio-controlled planes and sailboats, fast-draw competitions, and woodworking. He was a cherished brother to James, Janice, Christine, Jacqueline, Donald, and Patricia, and a dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many. His presence was steady, his heart generous, and his spirit quietly radiant.

Bill now joins his parents, his stepdaughter Vicki, and other loved ones who passed before him. Though his absence is deeply felt, his legacy lives on in the stories we share, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages all to honor Bill’s memory by making time for those you love—go camping, build something with your hands, or simply sit and share a story.

Rest peacefully, Bill. Your life was a gift, and your memory will forever be a blessing. 🕊️
