A Tribute to a Devoted Mother, Compassionate Caregiver, and Beautiful Soul
It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic passing of Skyla Michelle Bryant, age 24, of Van Buren, Indiana, who died in a single-vehicle accident in the early hours of Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Warren, Indiana. Her sudden loss has left a deep void in the hearts of her family, friends, colleagues, and the many lives she touched.
Born on September 6, 2001, in Marion, Indiana, Skyla was a 2019 graduate of Eastbrook High School and went on to earn her CNA certification through Ivy Tech. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Heritage Pointe in Warren, where her compassion, dedication, and radiant smile brought comfort and joy to those in her care. Her colleagues remember her as a light in the workplace—gentle, hardworking, and always willing to lend a hand.b Skyla’s greatest pride and joy were her two sons, Vincent and Holden. She embraced motherhood with fierce love and unwavering devotion. Whether planning family gatherings, enjoying the outdoors, or singing along at country concerts, Skyla lived life with a vibrant spirit and a heart full of love. Her fun-loving nature and deep empathy made her unforgettable to all who knew her.
She is survived by her sons, Vincent Jones and Holden Myers; her fiancé, Logan Myers; her mother, Tuesday Heral; her siblings, Chloe, Lexy, Hazley, and Elijah; her grandparents, Barbara and Darrell Heral; and many extended family members who will carry her memory forward with love and pride.
Skyla’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home in Van Buren. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., with services at 2:00 p.m., followed by burial at Van Buren Cemetery.
Though her time with us was far too short, Skyla’s legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
