Honoring a Devoted Husband, Cherished Friend, and Kind Soul
It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic passing of Craig French, age 53, of Summerville, South Carolina, who died in a fatal car accident on Friday, November 7, 2025. The crash occurred on US 17-Alternate near Clubhouse Road, where Craig’s vehicle was struck while turning into a private driveway. Despite the swift response of emergency personnel, Craig was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle was also injured, and the incident remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office.
Craig was a man of quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and deep compassion. To his wife Jessie, his family, and his many friends, he was a source of love, laughter, and support. His presence brought comfort, and his absence now leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him. Craig lived his life with integrity and kindness. Whether sharing a moment with loved ones or lending a helping hand to a neighbor, he gave of himself freely and without hesitation. His legacy is one of generosity, humility, and the kind of everyday heroism that often goes unnoticed but never unappreciated.
To Jessie and the entire French family, we extend our deepest condolences. The pain of losing someone so suddenly and tragically is immeasurable. May you find solace in the memories you shared, the love that surrounds you, and the strength Craig instilled in those closest to him.
As we mourn Craig’s passing, we also celebrate the life he lived—a life marked by devotion, kindness, and the quiet courage of a man who made the world better simply by being in it.
