Honoring a Life Cut Short and Remembered with Deep Respect
It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic passing of Jeremiah Stone, age 31, who was fatally shot on the evening of Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of Henry Crumpton Drive, where Jeremiah was found unresponsive in the roadway with a gunshot wound. Despite the swift response of Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel, he was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second individual was also injured in the shooting and is recovering.
Jeremiah’s death has left his family, friends, and community in profound grief. He was more than a victim of violence—he was a son, a friend, and a man whose life held meaning and promise. Those who knew Jeremiah remember him for his quiet strength, his loyalty, and the warmth he brought to those around him. His presence was steady and kind, and his absence is deeply felt. The Birmingham Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Authorities are working diligently to determine whether the incident was connected to an earlier dispute. At this time, no suspect is in custody, and anyone with information is urged to come forward to help bring clarity and justice to this senseless act.
