It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic passing of Katie Fox, age 34, who died after a violent attack in Birmingham city centre on the evening of Friday, November 7, 2025. Katie was stabbed on Smallbrook Queensway and, despite being rushed to hospital, succumbed to her injuries. Her death has left her family, friends, and community devastated and searching for answers.
Katie was a vibrant and compassionate woman whose presence brought light to those around her. She was known for her kindness, her strength, and her ability to make others feel valued and seen. Her sudden and senseless death has shaken all who knew her, and the pain of her absence is immeasurable. As the investigation into her murder continues, authorities have arrested and charged a suspect, and the legal process is underway. While justice must take its course, Katie’s loved ones ask that she be remembered not for the violence that took her, but for the life she lived—with dignity, love, and a generous heart.
